The Aim of the DGS Community Members’ site is to provide secure access of detailed information for;
Directors of charities, CIC’s, Armed Forces Units considering a partnership with DGS for service delivery as either a Hub garden authorized for service delivery or a community garden supporting the network and the local Armed Forces Community
Gardens joining the DGS Network - with detailed information on the core requirements for gardens- both essential and desirable- together with mandatory policies and procedures for safe practice
Practitioners starting or continuing DGS service delivery- with requirements and updates on training and qualifications
Digital access to the DGS 10 week evidence based programme
Hub Gardens - Core Criteria
DGS delivers and evaluates a 10 week nature based therapy programme for the AF Community at selected safe and secure gardens across the UK.

Essential qualifications for DGS practitioners
DGS service delivery at every garden is led by a two person delivery team. Headed up by a lead trained social and therapeutic horticulture practitioner who is supported by a gardener from the garden and where possible a veteran volunteer- ideally who has attended a previous DGS programme.
